ParaLinx 70G

Twin WAN WiFi Gateway

Advance Dual WAN Networking for SMBs

Advanced Twin WAN wireless gateways for small and medium businesses built on an entirely new platform with stability and ease of configuration in mind.

Increased Bandwidth and Scalability

Equipped with dual WAN ports, the ParaLinx 70G is designed to interface with two (2) broadband Internet connections such as DSL and Cable services. Using two Internet connections provide increased bandwidth to your network by efficiently utilizing the bandwidth of both connections concurrently. The ParaLinx 70G minimizes network congestion by processing Internet traffic evenly across both broadband connections so that no single connection is overwhelmed. With up to 70 Mbps bidirectional throughput the ParaLinx 70G brings flexible scalability for small business networks and faster broadband services.

Reliable Internet Connectivity

The ParaLinx 70G brings redundant Internet connectivity for your network’s mission critical applications. Dual WAN ports provide robust configurations for utilizing and managing two Internet connections on a single device. In the event of one Internet connection going down the ParaLinx 70G will failover and re-route data traffic to the available connection and continuously keeps your network online and connected to the Internet.

Solid Network Protection

The ParaLinx 70G brings integrated firewall protection to your network from intruders and Internet attacks. Built-in Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and advance content filtering tools allows you to control what type of data traffic is permitted into your private network. Wireless Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) bring WLAN access control while protecting wireless clients. With additional features like DoS attack prevention, URL filtering, and automated e-mail notifications provides intelligent firewall security to keep your network secure.

Bandwidth Management

Advanced Quality of Service (QoS) tools allows you to prioritize any type of data for your network. With robust and flexible traffic management capabilities the ParaLinx 70G gives you full control in assigning multiple priority levels to bandwidth-consuming applications. Bidirectional traffic can be customized to ensure clients on your network do not saturate the bandwidth. When used in conjunction with load balancing, the ParaLinx 70G brings real-time speeds to lowlatency traffic such as VoIP, video conferencing, and FTP sharing even during peak traffic loads.

Schematic View

Load Balancing / Failover Mode

The ParaLinx 70G is shown routing bidirectional Internet traffic concurrently between ISP 1 & ISP 2 thus increasing the overall available bandwidth to your network. The ParaLinx 70G actively monitors Internet connectivity to detect any inactive WAN connections to both ISPs.

Load Balance and Failover

Automatic Failover

In the event of an Internet link failure, the ParaLinx 70G will automatically redirect all traffic to the active connection. In this example, ISP 1 is shown with a link failure. The ParaLinx 70G re-directs all Internet traffic from your network through ISP 2 and maintains an active connection to the Internet.
